§ 29.13. APPEALS .

    ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW BOARD. The Administrative Review Board created pursuant to section 1.36 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Germantown:

    (a)

    Shall hear and decide appeals where it is alleged, by any aggrieved person, that there is error in any order, decision or determination made by the Building Inspector or Village Engineer in administering this chapter except for cease and desist orders obtained under section 29.12(3).     (b)

    Upon appeal, may authorize variances from the provisions of this chapter which are not contrary to the public interest and where owing to special conditions a literal enforcement of the provisions of the ordinance will result in unnecessary hardship; and

    (c)

    Shall use the rules, procedures, duties and powers authorized by ordinance in hearing and deciding appeals and authorizing variances.
