§ 16.12. LICENSE QUALIFICATIONS AND REVOCATION.

  • The Board of Electrical Examiners or Electrical Inspector shall determine if an applicant is qualified for an electrical license.

    (1)

    Master Electrician certification from the State shall serve as qualification unless provided otherwise in this code for a license or in the case of a firm or corporation that an employee has such certification. In the case of an employee who holds the Master Electrician certification terminates employment with the firm or corporation, said license shall automatically be revoked.

    (2)

    The Board of Electrical Examiners or Electrical Inspector may investigate any charges or complaints filed which may be brought against the holder of a license and revoke such license for repeated violations or noncompliance with any of the provisions of this code on the part of the licensee or any person performing any work under this direction. An aggrieved party may appeal to the Electrical Inspector to the Board of Electrical Examiners, to the Village Administrator and to the Village Board in said order.
