§ 11.06. SALE AND DISPLAY OF ANIMALS.

SALE OF CERTAIN ANIMALS PROHIBITED.

(a)

Stuffed Animals . No person shall sell dead, stuffed birds or animals as novelties which have been preserved with arsenicals or any other substance toxic to humans.

(b)

Turtles . No person shall sell live turtles as pets or novelties.

(2)

DISPLAY OF BIRDS RESTRICTED. No person shall sell or display birds of the psittacine family in any store selling, giving away or preparing food or drink for human consumption unless such birds are so enclosed as to prevent any possible contamination of the food or drink.
